November 22 through 24, 9am-12noon CLOSED TO ACCEPTING DONATIONS: Monday November 25 through 30 so our volunteers can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family. OPEN AGAIN TO ACCEPTING DONATONS: Monday, December 1st, when we resume the regular drop-off schedule (see below). We are still in need of jackets and car length coats and girl's winter clothing. Thank you. Matthew 25 Bazaar Free Store MATTHEW 25 MINISTRY: Matthew 25 is one of the oldest social justice ministries at Our Lady Queen of Peace. Its name and our mission are taken from the Gospel of Saint Matthew, Chapter 25:31-46. We offer gently used clothing, shoes, and small household goods, among other items, to those in need at no charge. Matthew 25 relies on the generous donations of parishioners and the general public for clothing and other items. All Matthew 25 operations are staffed solely by volunteers. Matthew 25 needs seasonal clothing and shoes for men, women and children. We also appreciate receiving new underwear and socks. Additional items accepted include bedding, towels, housewares, cookware, small kitchen appliances, infant and toddler clothing and accessories, children’s toys and stuffed animals, and small pieces of furniture, such as tables and floor lamps, small rugs, etc. Because of space limitations, we cannot accept major appliances and large furniture donations, including sofas, dining room tables and chairs, beds, dressers, etc. |
