Matthew 25 Bazaar Free Store 

MATTHEW 25 WILL BE CLOSED TO ACCEPTING DONATIONS for one week during each of the summer months:
        JUNE --  Closed Sunday June 21 through Saturday June 27
        JULY --  Closed Sunday July 26 through Saturday August 1
        JULY 4th Holiday Weekend --  Closed 
        AUGUST --  Closed Sunday August 30, through Monday September 7

Please do not donate winter clothing at this time -- our storage area is full.  Hold your winter clothing donations until September.  Thank you for your continued support. 

Donations are normally accepted on the following dates/times -- please see above notice for special exceptions to this schedule.
            Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday -- 9:00am to 12noon
            Wednesday -- 9:00am to 7:00pm
            Closed Thursdays and Fridays
Drop-off donations to building #4 the Ministry Center.  Look for the large bin at the front doors (weather permitting).  Bin will be just inside if it's raining.

HISTORY:  The Matthew 25 Ministry, which operates the free store, is one of the oldest social justice ministries at Our Lady Queen of Peace.  The store’s name and our mission are taken from the Gospel of Saint Matthew, Chapter 25:31-46.  We offer gently used clothing, shoes, and small household goods, among other items, to those in need at no charge.   The Matthew 25 store relies on the generous donations of parishioners and the general public for clothing and other items.  All operations and activities of the Matthew 25 Ministry are staffed solely by volunteers.

DONATIONS

DONATIONS NEEDED NOW:  
We now need Spring and Summer clothing, shoes, etc., of all types. 

DONATIONS GENERALLY:   Matthew 25 needs seasonal clothing and shoes for men, women and children.  We also appreciate receiving new underwear and socks.  Additional items accepted include bedding, towels, housewares, cookware, small kitchen appliances, infant and toddler clothing and accessories, children’s toys and stuffed animals, and small pieces of furniture, such as end tables and floor lamps, small rugs, etc. 
Because of space limitations, we cannot accept major appliances and large furniture donations, including sofas, dining room tables and chairs, beds, dressers, etc. We also don’t accept adult books and bed pillows or mattresses.
