Faith Formation & Sacramental Preparation

 Please use the button below to register children for OLQP's Faith Formation & Sacramental programs. Please visit our Faith Formation page for program descriptions. 
There is a $25 fee per child for our Foundation program.  
FOR SACRAMENT PREPARATION FIRST AND SECOND YEAR there is a $50 fee per child per year for First Communion and a $75 fee per child per year for Confirmation.

Reminder: ​The Sacramental preparation programs for both First Communion and Confirmation are two-year programs. Students can begin preparation for First Communion when they are in 1st grade, and they can begin preparation for Confirmation in 6th grade. During the student's first year, they will ​join a Foundations Class (based on their school grade level) for basic catechesis. Then during their second year, children join the First Communion/Confirmation preparation class.

To pay the fee for any of our programs, please follow the instructions during registration. You may submit a check to Our Lady Queen of Peace or make a one-time gift here: https://membership.faithdirect.net/VA271 . ​Please type "Faith Formation" and your child's name in the notes section to receive credit. If there is a need, we offer scholarships. To request a scholarship, simply write to Cecilia Lopez Oetgen.

Documentation needed: For First Communion and Confirmation, please provide a copy of the baptism certificate. If unbaptized, please submit a copy of the birth certificate. Please send the documents to Emma Grayeb ( egrayeb@olqpva.org), or send a copy to the Office of Faith Formation 2700 South 19th Street Arlington, VA 22204.

All families are required to attend one of our in-person family information sessions.

·       September  at 7pm 
·       September at 7pm (First Communion Only)
