Pre-K and Kindergarten
Goal: To develop the Roman Catholic Identity of the child –individually, within the family, and within the parish.
Alleluia – praise God!
Bible – This holy book tells stories of God’s love for us.
Baptism – This sacrament made you a child of God and a member of God’s family, the Church.
Church – God’s family, the faithful people that God has called together around the world.
Creation – Everything in the universe was created by God. After God created all things, God made human beings in his image.
God- Our Father, the creator of heaven and earth, who loves us completely.

Hero – an invincible person who will change the world
Holy Family – Jesus, Mary, and Joseph
Jesus – out of the love of his heart, God gave us Jesus, his son. Jesus is both God and man.
Parable – a story with a lesson. Jesus often used parables to teach his followers.
Prayer – a heart- to- heart talk with God
Respect – treating others with gentleness, care, and kindness
Saint – a person who lived like Jesus and is now in Heaven.
“Yes to God”- Mary’s answer when asked to be Jesus’ mother.
